In 1964, two naval officers, Joe Quicker and Al Tarantino began formulating the idea of a Navy Sailing Club in San Diego, to serve the military community and foster seamanship and esprit-de-corps within the Sailors and Officers that joined its membership. Navy Yacht Club San Diego continues to serve the military community by offering a gateway to greater enjoyment of San Diego's natural maritime resources.

Contribute to the Capital Fund
Did You Know?
NYCSD has a matching gift program and will double your donation to our Capital Fund Campaign? It's a fact - membership card stock is expensive! Replacing our patio tent which takes a beating from the salt air, sand, and sun - is expensive! By giving a gift of $ to our nonprofit organization, you can make a significant impact in funding our capital needs; as we match your gift, dollar for dollar, and continue to grow our club together.
